COMPANY PROFILE

Turbochrome Ltd. is a leading jet engine component overhaul and repair shop, specializing in jet engine airfoil reconditioning. The company has been in  business since 1969, serving the commercial and military aviation markets as well as industrial gas turbine customers while upholding the highest quality standards. Amongst its customers are prime MRO contractors, airlines,militaries and energy companies.

Turbochrome is wholly owned and publicly traded as part of the TAT-Technologies Group, adding jet engine component MRO capabilities to TAT’s suite of services for commercial and military aviation.

Our modern, 60,000 sq.ft. facility supports major airlines and engine shops around the world.

  • Mr. Mickey Chen

    Mr. Mickey Chen President

    Mr. Chen holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Prior to joining Turbochrome, Mr. Chen served as CEO of a company providing sophisticated electro-optic solutions for persistent surveillance, and has more than 20 years of experience in the defense industry, managing large multidisciplinary global cross-functional teams of R&D, engineering, operations, marketing and business development.

  • Mr. Yossi Bonfil

    Mr. Yossi Bonfil

    VP Operations

    Mr. Yossi Bonfil VP Operations

    Mr. Bonfil holds a Ph.D in Chemistry from Tel-Aviv University. Prior to joining Turbochrome, Mr. Bonfil served as site manager and VP R&D at Qlight Nanotech (acquired in 2015 by Merck KGaA), a company developing semiconductor nanocrystals for various display applications. He has more than 15 years’ experience in leading and managing technological & operational projects and research teams in both global (Intel Semiconductors) and startup companies.

  • Mr. Aharon Yehuda

    Mr. Aharon Yehuda CFO

    Mr. Yehuda is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Mr. Yehuda holds a B.A. in Economics and Accounting and M.B.A. from Tel-Aviv University. He joined Turbochrome in 1999 after having a decade of experience providing advisory, IPO and audit services to public and private companies.

  • Mr. Moti Katz

    Mr. Moti Katz CTO

    Mr. Katz holds a BSc and MSc in Materials Engineering from the Ben-Gurion University. He joined Turbochrome in 1979 as a materials engineer. Mr. Katz has been the company’s chief Engineering Officer since 1986 and COO since 1994. As a renowned and leading metallurgist, Mr. Katz is responsible for some of the company’s most advanced procedures and manufactured products. He has also headed the company’s international business development activities with strategic partners.

  • Mr. Haim Pines

    Mr. Haim Pines Director of HR and EHS

    Mr. Pines joined the company in 1978 as a technician and was shortly thereafter appointed leading foreman. In that capacity, Mr. Pines headed the planning, design and inauguration of the company’s current facility in Kiryat Gat, 1997. Mr. Pines has since been the company’s director of HR and environment, health and safety.

    Mr. Ben David joined the company in 1989 and has been Sales & Customer Service manager since 2010. Prior to his current role he had been the company’s production manager since 1993, responsible for commercial and military MRO, where he gained considerable experience planning and directing production.

  • Mr. Robert Iancu

    Engineering and QA Manager

    Mr. Robert Iancu Engineering and QA Manager

    Mr. Iancu holds an MSc in mechanical engineering. He is a 6-Sigma black belt and is OPEX/Lean trained. He joined Turbochrome in 2001 as a project engineer and was appointed chief engineer in 2005. Mr. Iancu assumed the crucial role of QA director in 2011.

    Mr. Chap Berrier, VP Sales & Marketing

    Veteran of TAT Technologies with over 17 years experience in both Sales and Marketing and Operations. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the past three years. Previous experience includes different leadership positions in the automotive aftermarket industry. Extensive training in corporate management and mentoring programs with background in instructional management systems. Proven leader with a high level of business development and partnership building capabilities that serve the strategic growth of the TAT Technologies Group.

    Mr. Marc Brodeur

    Marc is retired US Army Aviation and a helicopter test pilot.  Aside from 21 years in the US Army Marc comes to Turbochrome with over 35years of experience in Aerospace and Defense having worked at GE Aviation, UTC and Ultra ElectronicsMarc is retired US Army Aviation and a helicopter test pilot
